Chassis and engine orders pour in for 2012
Zytek Engineering is building on its championship winning season with plans unveiled recently showing that it will be busier than ever during 2012. Greaves Motorsport has shown faith in the chassis that took it to an LMP2 class victory in the Le Mans 24 Hours by announcing that it will run two cars, while a record number of enquiries have been received with regard to the Zytek developed and serviced Nissan LMP2 engine.

Proven experience chosen for new car
Zytek Engineering has been chosen to supply the engine for the Formula Renault 3.5 Series 2012 – 2014. The Repton based manufacturer was a logical choice, as its incredibly reliable engines have been the specified power units for Formula 3000, A1GP and the Auto GP series. Zytek engines have also won in class at Le Mans and powered Zytek’s own chassis to overall victories in the Le Mans Series and American Le Mans Series races, along with the LMS LMP2 drivers and team championships in 2009.

Trevor Foster commits to British-based team’s future
Ultra-experienced Trevor Foster (GB) has joined United Autosports as Race Engineer & Technical Director. Foster’s illustrious career spans over 40 years, running teams in Formulae Ford 1600, 2000 and Three before working in Formula One with Tyrrell, Team Lotus, Jordan and BAR.
Yorkshire based Team LNT renewed their acquaintance with Ginetta-Zytek machinery today, running their new GZ09S for the first time at a sunny Snetterton.
