Razia and Cecotto at Young Driver Test
Razia will have two days at the wheel of the STR7 on Tuesday and Thursday and Johnny Cecotto will drive on the Wednesday
At the Young Driver Test to be held in Abu Dhabi in the week following the eighteenth Grand Prix of the season, Scuderia Toro Rosso will run two drivers: Luiz Razia and Johnny Cecotto Junior.

Young Driver Test in Silverstone
Ma Qing Hua joined HRT Formula 1 Team’s young driver programme just three months ago and in this time he has been preparing with the team for the challenge of Formula 1. He finally had the opportunity to drive the F112 yesterday at the Young Driver Test which took place in Silverstone. He passed the test with flying colours and it wasn’t only a great day for the team but also for Formula 1 in general as he became the first driver born in China to drive a Formula 1 car at an official event.

An agreement has been finally reached and HRT Formula 1 Team will be able to carry out its Young Driver Test
HRT Formula 1 Team will take part in its Young Driver Test at Silverstone after the Grand Prix
This test will take place on Thursday the 12th and Friday the 13th of July at the legendary Silverstone circuit. 24 year-old Chinese driver Ma Qing Hua will be at the wheel of the F112 and will complete his first tests in a Formula 1 car.

Czech driver Jan Charouz will be behind the wheel of the #23 F111 and partner Daniel Ricciardo for the first free practice session at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace. Charouz got his first taste of the F111 last week at the Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi where he completed 56 laps, summing up a total of 311 kilometres and qualifying him for a Superlicence, which enables him to drive this week.

Just two days after taking part in the last GP2 race of the season in Abu Dhabi, Dani Clos joined up with HRT F1 Team to drive in the Young Driver Test. This was a historic occasion as he became the first Spanish driver ever to drive in a Spanish Formula 1 team.

Nathanael Berthon will drive for HRT F1 Team in Abu Dhabi tests

French driver Nathanael Berthon will take part in the young drivers’ test that is being held in Abu Dhabi these days with the HRT F1 Team. The French driver will begin his F111 testing programme on Wednesday 16th of November and complete it on Thursday the 17th.

Vietoris is more than happy to miss out on the F1 trial to be involved in the DTM testing with Mercedes
Christian Vietoris was actually due to link up with the Lotus Renault GP team for this week’s Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi, but he has now pulled out. Instead, he will be spending Tuesday to Thursday taking the new DTM AMG Mercedes C Coupé out for the first time at the Monte Blanco circuit in Spain.

Pirelli’s 2012 tyres make their debut
Pirelli’s 2012 tyres will make their debut at the young driver test in Abu Dhabi from 15-17 November. The three-day test is designed for teams to try out new drivers, who have completed no more than two grands prix previously and are in a possession of an International A licence, but it is also an excellent opportunity for Pirelli to try out some of the 2012 range of tyres, with in-season testing currently banned for this year.

Wickens makes Formula One Grand Prix debut
Canadian confirmed for Young Driver Test with Marussia Virgin Racing
Robert Wickens made his Formula One Grand Prix weekend debut on Friday, at the Yas Marina Circuit, as the Canadian participated in Friday morning’s free practice session with Marussia Virgin Racing ahead of Sunday’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Toronto racer ended his maiden F1 session just half a second off team-mate Timo Glock’s best time as he drove the team’s MVR-02 for the first time on the 5.55km circuit.
