First ten invited to NHMS Bond Auto ACT Invitational

Helliwell, Laperle lead invites to New Hampshire

Patrick Laperle 20122011 Blue Oval Cup Champion Wayne Helliwell, Jr. (27NH) competing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with Jimmy Linardy (77MA) and ACT officials have announced that the first ten invitations to the Bond Auto American Canadian Tour Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH have been confirmed. Competitors have been invited based on performance thus far in 2012, or have earned their invite by scoring a feature victory on either the American Canadian Tour, or Serie ACT Castrol. Six American teams and four Canadian teams have been invited thus far.

Helliwell, Pole lead ACT Stars to Beech Ridge

Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. dominates Oxford 250

ACT veteran pockets one of the biggest checks in 250 history

Oxford Plains SpeedwayACT logoAmerican Canadian Tour star Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. of Hudson, NH dominated the 39th Annual Oxford 250 at Oxford (ME) Plains Speedway on Sunday, July 22nd. The ACT veteran wheeled his Ford-powered Pole’s Automotive machine to one of the biggest paydays in Oxford 250 history at $45,500, while leading over 200 laps.

ACT - Joey Polewarczyk, JrACT logoEight-time American Canadian Tour Champion Brian Hoar started off his title defense with convincing victories in 2012, beating out four-time Lee USA Speedway Champion Wayne Helliwell, Jr. by a collective car length in each of the first two events. The pair soared far above the field and looked to be gearing up for a two car battle for the 2012 ACT Championship. Last Sunday, May 20 at Oxford Plains Speedway it all changed.

Hoar was running third on a lap 36 restart when segment one winner and leader at the time Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts had ignition troubles and had to retire from the event.

Joey Pole claims second annual ACT Invitational (+result)

The 60 lap race on the Magic Mile was completed in 55 minutes and 7 seconds

It was completed with just two cautions which came in the first two laps. Lap leaders included Glen Luce, Fisher, McHattie, and Pole for a total of four lead changes.
