Pat Richard and Alan Ockwell taste victory at Rally of the Tall Pines

Pat Richard (Squamish, BC) and Alan Ockwell (Toronto) of Subaru Rally Team Canada claimed victory at the Rally of the Tall Pines.

The scenario for Kennington to claim his second NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 championship in three years is simple and straightforward. Assuming a full 26-car field in the season finale on Saturday, Sept. 22 in the Pinty’s 250 presented by Dodge at Kawartha Speedway near Peterborough, Ont., Kennington has to finish 19th or better should second-place J.R. Fitzpatrick win the race and lead the most laps.

Jumping into a professional series like the NCATS, on a new track and against experienced racers was a tall order for Ray Jr, but the challenge was exciting and he could not wait to get on the track and let loose.

At a media briefing earlier this week it was officially announced that Martin Roy would compete for the 2012 rookie of the year title in the #90 Veloce/Gamache Truck Centre Dodge.  Two time winner in last year’s NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Robin Buck will return to defend his wins at Circuit ICAR & the Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres in 2012.
