Max Chilton maintained his Free Practice pace to clinch his second pole position of the season with a late surge in this afternoon’s qualifying session in Monza, storming to the top spot ahead of Giedo van der Garde and Johnny Cecotto.
Max Chilton has opened his weekend in fine style by setting the pace in this morning’s free practice session in Monza, leading from the front as he put himself at the top of the timesheets for most of the session and finishing four tenths ahead of Felipe Nasr and Luca Filippi.
Last week in Spa, the tenth round of the 2012 GP2 Series™ season was not short of action and drama.
