Checa takes Provisional Pole for World Superbike at Miller Motorsports Park
Carlos Checa continued his brilliant first day form on the Althea Racing Ducati machine at Miller Motorsports Park, the points leader and fastest rider in the first free session this morning blasting his way to a time of 1 minute 48.260 seconds and provisional pole.

Corser, Aaron, Whitehouse and Birch take top honors
Team Corser – consisting of World Superbike superstar Troy Corser, Rick Aaron of Fox 13 television in Salt Lake City, Ryan Whitehouse from the Deseret Chemical Depot and fan Kellen Birch of Rexburg, Idaho, won the Inaugural BigM Weekend Superbike Super Celebrity Mega Kart Showdown at Miller Motorsports Park today.

Team Alstare Suzuki Fabrizio boosted by Monza podium
Team Alstare Suzuki rider Michel Fabrizio heads off to USA, with increased confidence thanks to his superb podium in the last round at Monza. This will be the fourth time that Miller has hosted a WSBK event and this year’s race once again takes place on a Monday, Memorial Day, a public holiday.

The tenth round of this year’s Superbike World Championship is a ‘home’ race for both Team Suzuki Alstare riders Leon Haslam and Sylvain Guintoli. It is a home race for Leon because he is a Briton and lives in Derbyshire, but it is also a home race for Sylvain because the Frenchman has lived in UK for some time and is married to an English girl.

Team Suzuki Alstare rider Leon Haslam met Prince Andrew
The ‘King’ of this year’s Superbike World Championship (so far), met royalty at Silverstone yesterday. Team Suzuki Alstare rider Leon Haslam, who is leading this year’s WSBK series by twenty points, met Leon Haslam, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, during a special presentation to launch the new Silverstone race circuit in front of many dignitaries, VIPs and Media.

Former Assen winners come back for more
The seemingly ever-changing Assen circuit will once more deliver the Superbike World Championship a timeless atmosphere along with its latest slice of modernity, with a new track length being the main talking point in the run up to yet another potentially classic race weekend.
This year’s event will be unique in that the feature races for the Superbike World Championship and Supersport World Championship will be held on MONDAY, May 31 (Memorial Day).
