2013 Red Bull could miss first winter test
Reigning champion Red Bull’s 2013 car might not be ready for the first pre-season test in early February.
We have already reported designer Adrian Newey’s admission that late development work to ensure the 2012 title somewhat delayed progress of the RB8′s successor. He said in an official Red Bull film that 2012 was “one of the toughest seasons I’ve been through”.

McLaren will allow Lewis Hamilton to speak to engineers at his new team Mercedes even before his 2012 contract expires.
It is believed Hamilton’s deal with McLaren actually runs until December 31. But British newspapers including the Sun and Express say the 27-year-old will actually talk with Mercedes engineers before the new year begins.

Before setting off to India and then Abu Dhabi, the US and Brazil for the final ‘flyaway’ phase of the 2012 season, the 2008 world champion made an “emotional” speech to staff at McLaren’s Woking factory, the Sun newspaper reports.
