Bryan Herta Autosport signs Sebastian Saavedra and adds Indianapolis 500 bid
With owners Bryan Herta and Steve Newey today announcing the addition of Colombian rising star Sebastian Saavedra to the team’s 2010 Firestone Indy Lights campaign. Saavedra will join British talent Stefan Wilson, who was named earlier this month. The second-year team also will make its first foray into the IZOD IndyCar Series, fielding an entry for Saavedra in the Indianapolis 500.
New race shop and two-car Indy Lights program highlight growing team
Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA) owners Bryan Herta and Steve Newey today announced that they will move their Firestone Indy Lights program to a new headquarters for the 2010 racing season. BHA, a technical partner and tenant of Vision Racing in its debut season, will begin the moving process this week and will occupy a race shop on the northwest side of Indianapolis which formerly housed Fernandez Racing.
