More than 10 hours of coverage of America’s toughest endurance race

The American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón returns to SPEED next week for its 2013 season opener. Television’s leading motorsport channel will air 10.5 hours of the 61st Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida on Saturday, March 16.
























Jason Bowles, the 2009 champion in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, will be returning home next month to compete in the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale (Calif.).
It’s Petit Le Mans week, and Scott Tucker already has one championship to his credit on the year. This weekend at Road Atlanta may deliver the biggest of his career though. Level 5 Motorsports’ owner/driver enters Petit Le Mans powered by MAZDA 2 fresh off a second straight title at the SCCA National Runoffs. He won the Touring 1 national class title for the second straight year driving a Ferrari 430 Challenge at Road America.
James Sofronas’ career as a driver is coming full circle this weekend at Lime Rock Park. That’s where the GMG star driver/owner earned his first competition license more than 15 years ago. It’s also where he and the GMG crew will look for their first victory in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón.

One of the big pieces of news last week from Le Mans was the elimination of the GT1 class from ACO-sanctioned endurance racing starting in 2011. Instead, the governing body of the Le Mans 24 Hours will focus on a single GT. It’s much the same structure currently in place in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón.
Sebring International Raceway has unveiled the poster for the 58th running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. America’s greatest sports car race runs on Saturday, March 20th, kicking-off the 2010 American Le Mans Series season.
