Maldonado admits ‘chance’ of Williams switch
Pastor Maldonado has admitted there is “a chance” he will switch teams ahead of the 2013 season.
Days ago, before Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez was re-elected by his countrymen, the lucratively PDVSA-backed Maldonado answered “we’ll see” when asked if he will still be a Williams driver next season.

Dani Clos will take part in the first free practice session at the Spanish GP

Spanish driver Dani Clos will step into the F112 for the first time on Friday to take part in the first free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix which will take place at the Circuit de Catalunya. 23 year-old Clos will substitute teammate Narain Karthikeyan for that session and will join Pedro de la Rosa for the first 90 minutes of practice in Montmeló.

The Spanish Grand Prix started with the bright sun and fine weather the Andalucían venue is known for, but on Sunday the rain arrived and the first European GP of the season was also the first wet race since the Malaysian GP in 2009. Early on in the weekend the laptimes were very fast and several riders dipped under the lap record.

Red Bull asked Vettel to quit Spanish GP
“When I got back out the team told me that I should quit the race”
Sebastian Vettel has revealed he was asked to pull out of the race before finishing the Spanish grand prix in third place. The Red Bull driver suffered a braking problem with 15 laps of the Barcelona race still to run, and made a pitstop so the damage could be inspected.
BMW-Sauber test driver Christian Klien will probably not travel to Barcelona for the Spanish grand prix next month.
Renault’s Executive Director of Engineering, Pat Symonds, hailed the Hungarian Grand Prix as the team’s best race of the season.
