Eleven rounds make 2013 season. Abu Dhabi hosts final round
The GP2 Series™ organisers have revealed their 2013 calendar today which will consist of eleven rounds in total, all support events of the official Formula OneTM World Championship. Seven rounds will be held in Europe whilst four overseas events have been added, making it once again an international Series.

GP3 Series™ organisers have today unveiled the provisional 2013 calendar which will be made of eight rounds in total. Seven rounds have been confirmed for the season which will run alongside the Formula 1™ World Championship, with an eighth standalone race weekend mid-June (venue to be announced at a later date). The calendar features an exciting new venue for GP3 with Abu Dhabi hosting the final race of the season.

Ecclestone says Schumacher ‘leaving’ F1
Bernie Ecclestone on Sunday hinted Michael Schumacher is set to return to retirement.
Asked by Eddie Jordan at Spa-Francorchamps about the seven time world champion’s career spanning a 300 grands prix, the F1 chief executive answered: “I’m sorry that he’s leaving us not being a winner (with Mercedes), because he is a winner.”

German driver Daniel Abt is content with life after taking his first win in the 2012 GP3 Series. Rookie Abt started from third on the grid and made an amazing pass on both Antonio Felix Da Costa (Carlin) and Mitch Evans (MW Arden) to claim his debut win ahead of Felix Da Costa and Evans.
