Ogier is one of rallying’s hottest properties

Production Car world champion Hayden Paddon says the opportunity to measure himself against Sebastien Ogier was one of the key reasons behind his decision to switch to the Super 2000 World Rally Championship in 2012.















With the dust still settling on last week’s thrilling Barum Czech Rally Zlin, where Jan Kopecky beat Freddy Loix in the closest finish in Intercontinental Rally Challenge history, the all-action series blasts back into life in Hungary next week when the Canon Mecsek Rallye joins the IRC schedule for the first time.
Jan Kopecký has claimed his first victory in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge for more than a year after triumphing on a thrilling Barum Czech Rally Zlín. The ŠKODA Motorsport ace, roared on by approximately 300,000 home fans, beat Freddy Loix by 1.2s, the closest finish in the history of the IRC. Team-mate Juho Hänninen took third to make it a ŠKODA podium lockout.










Juho Hanninen leads the Prime Yalta Rally following an action-packed second day in Ukraine. With three different leaders and three different stage winners, the Intercontinental Rally Challenge thrilled the thousands of fans who flocked to the sun-baked stages in the country’s Crimea region. And with Friday’s demanding asphalt stages being run in reverse on Saturday, the prospects are for another day of drama. 




Just under a month after the thrilling four-way battle for victory on Rally Islas Canarias El Corte Ingles electrified fans around the world, the chase for Intercontinental Rally Challenge glory resumes on the Mediterranean island of Corsica from 12-14 May with a live television spectacular.
