De Silvestro joins current driver Tony Kanaan, making the team a two-car entry. This will be the first time De Silvestro has had the opportunity of running with a teammate since moving up to the IndyCar series in 2010. She brings with her the Nuclear Clean Air Energy campaign sponsorship.










Simona De Silvestro, who finds herself just 18 points out of the lead for IndyCar “Rookie of the Year”, heads to the season finale this Saturday with a new partner. HVM Racing has signed new sponsor, Barnett, one of the nation’s leading distributors of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and hardware products. 


Simona De Silvestro and the Team Stargate Worlds/HVM Racing crew were eager to begin the Honda Indy Edmonton on a positive note in her quest for the 2010 “Rookie of the Year” award. As the green flag dropped Simona immediately picked up a position and by lap # 7 she had a 2.3 second gap between her and the 7th spot of E.J. Viso. 

Scott Dixon was quickest in opening practice for this weekend’s Honda Indy Toronto IndyCar street race, despite tangling with Takuma Sato at the end of the hour. Contact between Dixon and Sato at Turn 6 resulted in the KV car spin around in front of Dixon’s Ganassi Dallara and come to a halt blocking it. The following Bertrand Baguette (Conquest) then slid into the rear of Dixon’s car in the traffic jam.
Team Stargate Worlds/HVM Racing’s Simona De Silvestro arrives this weekend at Iowa Speedway looking to regain her Indy Rookie of the Year momentum after one of the worst crashes in recent IndyCar history at Texas two weeks ago. 
Ryan Briscoe claimed his second pole position of 2010 in qualifying for the IndyCar Series’ Texas night race. The Penske driver’s speed of 215.273mph held on despite strong challenges from Ganassi’s Dario Franchitti and points leader Will Power (Penske), who completed the top three.
After a whirlwind 2 weeks of Pre-Indy 500 media activities, finally concluding it with a respectable 14th place finish, the momentum continues for Team Stargate Worlds/HVM Racing rookie driver Simona De Silvestro. It was announced at the 2010 Indy 500 Awards Banquet that the talented 21 year old had been selected to be the recipient of the 2010 Indianapolis 500 Chase Rookie of the Year Award.
