West City Powersports Honda will be the Official Dealer and promotional partner for the opening round of the 2013 Mopar Canadian Superbike National motorcycle road racing Championships at Shannonville Motorsport Park, east of Belleville, ON, on June 7-9.

Jordan Szoke edged a step closer to a record eighth national Superbike title
By claiming pole position for this weekend’s fourth round of the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship at Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant on Saturday, the Brantford, Ont. racer took his Waznie Racing / Parts Canada / BMW Motorrad Canada BMW S1000RR around the 4.26km (2.65-mile), 15-turn track in one minute, 40.495 seconds (152.535km/h) during Pirelli SuperPole qualifying to stretch his lead by another point in the standings heading into Sunday’s 16-lap race.

Coming off a very successful event at Point Pelee Karting in Leamington last weekend, the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series quickly turns around for round four of the series. From August 1-5, BSRKC competitors will fill the grandstand parking and paddock areas of Shannonville Motorsport Park for the annual Canadian Grand National Bear Hunt races.

Seven-time Canadian Superbike champion Jordan Szoke got the early jump on his bid for an eighth title by claiming pole position for the opening round of the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship at Shannonville Motorsport Park on Saturday.

Szoke aims to take back Canadian Superbike title
For the first time since 2006 Jordan Szoke will not be wearing the number one plate on his motorcycle. After a record-breaking string of five straight national championships between 2006 and 2010, the Brantford, Ont. ace was beaten to the title by Brett McCormick last season. While McCormick has moved on to the World Superbike wars, Szoke will be looking to reclaim the top spot in Canadian motorcycle road racing this summer.
