Corvette wins for first time in 12 Hours since 2009
Audi Sport extended its remarkable run at Sebring International Raceway on Saturday. Marcel Fassler, Benoit Treluyer and Oliver Jarvis won the 61st Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida in their No. 1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro – the first hybrid car to win at Sebring and in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón.

The Toronto-native graduated through the ranks of karting, Formula BMW, Star Mazda, and two years in Firestone Indy Lights. But just a few short months ago Ostella decided to try his hand at sports car racing and take on historic Sebring International Raceway for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón.

At an event where the Porsche marque leads all others in overall wins, it is only fitting that the GT3 Cup Challenge was here for its 14th race at the legendary 3.74-mile circuit.

A hybrid-powered prototype is on pole position for the first time in the 61st Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida. Marcel Fassler set a track record with a 1:43.886 (129.604 mph) in Audi Sport Team Joest’s No. 1 Audi R8 e-tron quattro.

As he prepares for the upcoming 2013 IZOD IndyCar Series, Alex Tagliani will test the Team Barracuda Networks Honda at Sebring International Raceway, Florida on Thursday December 13. Tim Paul Signs with AJ Foyt Racing for Indy Lights in 2014
2013 is going to be a turning point for me
Open-wheel racing and former midget and sprint car driver Timothy Paul of Mahopac, New York, has signed an agreement to race in the Firestone Indy Lights Championship in 2014 for AJ Foyt Racing. Prior to the 2014 season, Paul, who has run competitively in the F2000 Championship Series, will spend 2013 competing in both F2000 and USF2000 in a CellMark Paper-sponsored entry to gain the maximum amount of seat time possible.

Audi returned to victory at Sebring International Raceway for the first time since 2009 on Saturday with a convincing victory in the 60th Anniversary Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida. Dindo Capello, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish completed 301 laps in their Audi R18 to win by four laps in the opening round of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón and the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Canadian IndyCar star James Hinchcliffe at the Canadian Motorsports Expo

James Hinchcliffe missed appearing at last year’s Canadian Motorsports Expo because he was taking part in an IndyCar test at Florida’s Sebring International Raceway. In the time since that test, Hinchcliffe has been extremely busy, and he’ll have a lot to talk about when he takes to the CME’s Mazda Stage on Sunday, February 12.

Legends of Motorsports wraps ip its sophomore season with awards celebration
Legends of Motorsports was at Sebring International Raceway this weekend for the finale
Saturday evening they celebrated the season finale with a dinner and Awards Ceremony at the Chateau Elan Sebring. Trophies were presented to those drivers who won the Championships for their respective categories and five Rolex watches were presented to special award winners.
