First Senior Rotax Max win for Lazare
Canadian Jesse Lazare was back in action last weekend at Homestead Karting for the third Rotax Max Challenge event of the 2012 Formula Kart Production’s Florida Winter Tour, presented by SPORTALITY. Lazare backed up his impressive pace of the first two rounds by taking a win in Saturday’s round 3 – it was the first Rotax Max Senior win of his career.

The eyes of Canadian racing are about to return to Quebec as the City of Trois-Rivieres is getting set to host the 42nd Edition of the famed Grand Prix Trois-Rivieres at Exposition Park. Annually attracting the likes of Firestone Indy Lights, Star Mazda and the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, this year someone new is jumping the cue and its Le Monaco de Trois-Rivieres – Canada’s most unique kart race. The event is making a move from the waterfront to the site of GP3R and is doing so in a very big way, kicking off race week!

PSL Karting ECKC Goodwood report
Team PSL Karting was back racing in Canada a week ago as the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship got underway at Goodwood Kartways in Ontario. The joint forces of PSL, PSL Atlantic, PSL Ontario, and the newly-minted PSL Montreal combined to race 27-strong in the opening event, and the group scored five poles, five wins and fourteen podiums in a weekend doubleheader.

Intrepid scored eight wins at ECKC opening weekend
After a very impressive winter season, Goodwood Kartways / Intrepid Canada started racing North of the border a week ago as it began the 2011 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship on its home turf at Goodwood Kartways. With favoured drivers in a number of Rotax Max Challenge classes, Intrepid drivers from both Ontario and Quebec produced an exceptional weekend with six wins and seventeen total trips to the podium to spray champagne.

All winter and spring planning comes to fruition today as the 2011 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship gets underway at Goodwood Kartways in Stouffville, Ontario. The finest karters from Ontario through the Maritimes are already on hand at the fabled circuit, set for a full day of Official Testing today before a doubleheader race weekend Saturday and Sunday.

At the last Canadian Championships held in Mont-Tremblant on August 20-22, we also witnessed the Rotax Max Challenge national final. Before this event, seven drivers had already qualified for the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals which will take place next November in Italy.

Rotax Max Challenge program enters the fourth season
With expanded prize package, new tracks and loads of racing action…
The Western Canadian Challenge (WCC) is set to begin the 2010 season in just one week at the spectacular Greg Moore Raceway in Chilliwack, BC. The newly renamed track will host the opening rounds in the three weekend, six round series that will see drivers span three provinces as they head to Saskatoon, SK and Edmonton, AB to complete the series schedule.

The 2010 season is primed to be another great year for the Trois-Rivieres, Quebec based PSL Karting squad. The Canadian CRG squad battled in both dry and wet conditions at the Ocala Gran Prix facility for the final round of the Florida Winter Tour Rotax Max Challenge.
