Clean sweep at Canadian Nationals for Lazare
Quebec racer Jesse Lazare has just added a very important credential to his racing resume. The 14-year-old is the 2011 Canadian National Champion in Rotax Junior. Lazare put on a brilliant performance at the National Championships, held once again this year at the Mt-Tremblant circuit, by taking the pole and all three qualifying heats. Lazare went on to win the pre-final and the final on Sunday.

At Circuit Mont-Tremblant
Intrepid Canada wrapped up its Eastern Canadian Karting Championship campaign a week ago as the series travelled to beautiful Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, for the sixth and final round. Once again one of the most productive teams in the paddock, this time out Intrepid drivers added season-long podiums and championships to their customary race wins.

Team PSL Karting continued its strong run in the ECKC
Team PSL Karting continued its strong run in the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship recently as the team made its second-scheduled trip to Ontario. After logging five wins and fourteen podiums to open the schedule at Goodwood Kartways in May, team drivers produced four more wins and twelve more podiums in challenging conditions at Mosport International Karting in June.

Eastern Canadian Karting Championship Race 5 report
Drivers of the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship finally got what they’ve been craving Sunday as Race 5 was run on a dry track under clear skies. After enduring changing weather conditions through races three and four, drivers were finally able to carry knowledge from one session to the next at Mosport International Karting and produced some very impressive racing as a result.

The Eastern Canadian Karting Championship begins the second half of its six-race schedule this coming weekend as drivers and teams head to Mosport International Karting outside turn eight at the world renowned Mosport International Speedway.

With the debut event of its sophomore season hitting the track this weekend, the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship is proud to welcome ULV Custom Suits and Racing Gear as an Official Series Supplier. ULV products will be on display and available at each ECKC round in 2011, beginning this coming weekend at Goodwood Kartways. ULV also has an exciting Awards Program slated for the ECKC, one that will benefit the drivers directly and have some headed to next season with custom-tailored race suits!

Vincec scored a double podium in his PSL debut, Laderoute did the same in Micro-Max
Trekking across the United States after its season began in earnest early in the New Year, team pslkarting.com started its second Rotax Max qualifying series recently with the opening of the 2011 Florida Winter Tour Rotax Max Challenge. Twenty-eight drivers spread across six classes for PSL at Orlando Kart Center, and once again the team was a force in the paddock.

Dejected Rotax Junior driver left with unanswered questions
A very dejected Jesse Lazare left the final race of the year at Circuit ICAR with more questions than he had answers for. For the second straight weekend, Lazare won on the track only to be handed a very questionable penalty after the race.

2010 ASN Canada FIA National Karting Championships
The inaugural season of the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship came to a close over the weekend as the nation’s top karters converged to christen Le Circuit Karting Mont-Tremblant, host venue of the 2010 ASN Canada FIA National Karting Championships.

ECKC Rotax Junior championship to Lazare
Quebec PSLkarting.com Junior Rotax driver Jesse Lazare needed a near perfect weekend at the Circuit Mt-Tremblant, site of the final round of the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship. Lazare didn’t disappoint as he took the win, and with it, he was crowned the Rotax Max Junior Champion.

Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Kawartha report
The second weekend of the 2010 Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship is now in the books after a unique Sunday-Monday event held at Kawartha Downs and Speedway opened the year for the 2-stroke classes as well as Honda Jr. Medium. Beautiful blue skies, and temperatures hovering at 30 degrees matched the hot action on the semi-temporary Kawartha track.

Pole, pre-final and final win for Lazare
Jesse Lazare put in a dominant performance in the opening round of the Quebec Championship held at Trois-Rivieres, Quebec this past Sunday. The top ranked Rotax Junior driver took the pole, and then went on to win the pre-final and final on his way to a clean sweep of the Rotax Max Junior class.
