F1 drivers ‘disconnected’ with ‘sense of risk’ – Prost
Alain Prost has admitted he was amazed when he tuned in on television to recent grands prix.
The four time world champion recently tested the Renault with which he contested the 1983 season, and said it was an eye-opener in contrast to the sport’s most recent races. “I wonder now if the drivers are not too disconnected with a sense of risk,” Prost told the French sports daily L’Equipe.

Tost names Grosjean as ‘suitable’ Toro Rosso driver
Franz Tost has named three drivers he considers “suitable” for Toro Rosso to target.
The Austrian admitted that his premier choices – Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso and Rosberg – are “unlikely” to want to drive for Red Bull’s secondary team. “So when thinking of suitable guys I would pick three, if I may,” the Toro Rosso team principal told F1′s official website.

Alonso is in charge at Ferrari – Hamilton
Fernando Alonso is among the best in formula one but his situation at Ferrari is unique.
That is the view of Lewis Hamilton, who clashed memorably with Alonso as they were teammates at McLaren in 2007 as the pair reportedly tussled for elusive ‘number 1′ status. Montezemolo wants Alonso for PM, no job for Massa
Luca di Montezemolo has responded mischievously to speculation about his future in politics.
It has been rumoured the Italian might hang up his hat as Ferrari president for a new calling, to which he told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Me in politics? Yes, with Alonso as prime minister. “I would have him because he has the strongest character and is optimistic but also a realist.”

FIA glitch grounded Barrichello’s wing in Aus
An FIA glitch marred the start of Rubens Barrichello’s Australian grand prix, Williams has revealed.
Immediately after the Melbourne race, the British team said the Brazilian driver had “problems with the sector settings on the moveable rear wing”. To Auto Motor und Sport, team manager Dickie Stanford elaborates: “Something in the race control system was wrong.
Vitaly Petrov has revealed that fans of Ferrari and Fernando Alonso littered his official Facebook page with insults and abuse. “Many people cursed me, saying I had blocked Alonso,” admitted the Russian driver.
