United Autosports is delighted to announce that it has signed Ex-Formula 1 driver Mark Blundell to compete full time in the 2013 Avon Tyres British GT Championship alongside Richard Meins, reuniting their partnership from the 24 Hours of Spa in 2012.

To take hard-earned podium in Gulf 12 Hours
In one of the tensest finishes to any endurance race, the United Autosports trio of Scot Ryan Dalziel and Venezuelan pair, Enzo Potolicchio and Alex Popow drove an inspired race in the inaugural running of the Gulf 12 Hours at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi to finish in a fighting third place.

Trevor Foster commits to British-based team’s future
Ultra-experienced Trevor Foster (GB) has joined United Autosports as Race Engineer & Technical Director. Foster’s illustrious career spans over 40 years, running teams in Formulae Ford 1600, 2000 and Three before working in Formula One with Tyrrell, Team Lotus, Jordan and BAR.

In maiden 24 Hour Spa race
The American owned United Autosports team, formed only earlier this year, will contest its maiden 24 hour race when a brace of Audi R8 LMS GT3 class sports cars line-up resplendent in red, white and blue livery for the 63rd running of the 24 Hours of Spa in Belgium next weekend (July 31-August 1).

With United Autosports for epic 24 hour race in Belgium
Stefan Johansson will return to the wheel of an Audi this summer when the Swede drives a R8 LMS GT3 sports car for United Autosports in the Spa 24 Hours (31 July-1 August).The 53-year-old Los Angeles-based Scandinavian is a veteran of almost twenty 24 Hour races and won the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours in 1997 but will actually be making his début in the annual twice-around-the-clock Belgian encounter.

New Audi “customer” team achieves top positions on British GT Championship début with R8 LMS
Just three months after the formation of United Autosports and less than one month since the American-owned, British-based team took delivery of its 2010-specification Audi R8 LMS sports cars, the Zak Brown and Richard Dean led outfit made a promising race début Easter Monday, April 5.
United Autosports’ brace of Audi R8 LMS sports cars will be adorned in Draper Tools livery for the Anglo-American team’s attack on the FIA GT3 European and British GT Championships next year.
