Newest EFFORT Racing driver posts two-in-a-row at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
Only a few short days ago, D. Bryce Miller made a mid-season switch to EFFORT Racing to join Michael Mills in IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama competition. The team welcomed Miller with the hopes of making a stronger run for the Championship beginning at this weekend’s Mobil 1 Presents the Grand Prix of Mosport.

Changing track conditions provide another challenge to an already turbulent weekend
Yesterday’s tumultuous first race for the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin shook up the usually fast suspects as an early on-track incident brought out a full course caution and added some new faces on the podium in both Platinum and Gold.

Class qualifying lap records and new faces make all the difference in round six
With all three classes of Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin seeing new qualifying lap records yesterday morning, competition was sure to be fast and fierce in Round 6 of competition. Fans were not disappointed as the field saw fierce class battles, a touch of ‘Gold’ on the Podium, and a seven-lap full-course-caution to clean up after a multi-car spin and contact.

A recent “EFFORT” pays off in Canada
D. Bryce Miller and Sean Johnston Bring Plenty of Excitement to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
Yesterday’s qualifying for the 2012 Mobil 1 Presents the Grand Prix of Mosport was no surprise as IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama points leader Sean Johnston took another BBS Pole Award for Wright Motorsports, as well as setting a new qualifying lap record at the 10-turn, 2.459-mile circuit.

Etienne Borgeat and Jean-Frederic Laberge in the top 3 in Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin
The IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama Series is currently at its second Canadian stop this season for this weekend’s Mobil 1 presents the Grand Prix of Mosport at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The largest single-make series in North America held qualifying today for Round 8 of 15 for both the Platinum Cup and Gold Cup class Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars competing in the series.

Italian Raffaele Marciello was fastest in qualifying for the Grand Prix de Pau, which was split up into two groups (+ results)
Pau novice Raffaele Marciello claims Pole-Position
At the 2.76 kilometres long street circuit at the foot of the Pyrenees, another driver from the Formula 3 Euro Series, Carlos Sainz (Carlin, 1:10.802 minutes) topped the time sheets in the other group. Accordingly, Marciello and Sainz will be on the front row for Sunday’s 71st Grand Prix de Pau, which counts towards the FIA European Formula 3 Championship.

Dillmann defeats Razia to take maiden GP2 win
Rapax rookie victorious in Sprint Race at the Bahrain International Circuit
Victory never tasted so good for Tom Dillmann: the French rookie took a lights-to-flags win in today’s Sprint Race after having to hold off a charging Luiz Razia in the final laps. He took the chequered flag 0.1s ahead of the Arden man and thus pocketed his first ever GP2 win.

Valsecchi steals the show in Sakhir
Series leader wins third race in a row at the Bahrain International Circuit
It was a hat trick for DAMS’s Davide Valsecchi: the mighty Italian pocketed his third win in a row in today’s Feature Race at Bahrain International Circuit. Starting from P2 on the grid, Valsecchi stole the lead from poleman Giedo van der Garde before the compulsory pitstop and kept it until the chequered flag. Fabio Leimer ended up second for his first podium finish of the season ahead of van der Garde.

Free practice : Max Chilton sets the pace in Sakhir – Carlin racer quickest in free practice
Giedo van der Garde is a happy man: the Caterham Racing driver claimed today’s pole position at the Bahrain International Circuit in 1:42.451, one tenth quicker than Davide Valsecchi. Fabio Leimer took P3 in an thrilling qualifying session.

Arden driver dominates opening race of the 2012 season
Luiz Razia is a happy man: a perfect get away from the front row and a flawless drive meant he took a lights to flag win today in the Sepang Feature Race. It was also the first win for the Brazilian’s team Arden International, since Charles Pic in Barcelona Feature Race in 2010. Razia crossed the finish line an impressive 7.8s ahead of Davide Valsecchi. Max Chilton in third pocketed his and Carlin’s first GP2 podium.

Felix Da Costa wins thrilling season finale
Status Grand Prix driver seals first GP3 Series™ victory at Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Antonio Felix Da Costa took his first victory this season in what was a dramatic final race of the 2011 GP3 Series™. The Portuguese driver finished ahead of championship runner-up James Calado, but the Lotus ART driver was handed a 20-second penalty for failing to take a drive-through penalty after causing a collision with Mitch Evans. Marussia Manor Racing’s Rio Haryanto was promoted to second and Nico Müller took the final podium spot.

Dilley earns a wild win
Contact between leaders nets him Canadian Tire victory at Barrie
Mark Dilley took advantage of a skirmish between the leaders to claim the Wild Wing 300 presented by Independent Electric Saturday night at Barrie Speedway. Dilley was running third on the green-white-checkered finish when Kerry Micks tapped race leader J.R. Fitzpatrick in Turn 1. Fitzpatrick spun and Dilley got past Micks to claim his third career victory.

Quaife-Hobbs clinches Monza pole
Marussia Manor Racing on pole at Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Adrian Quaife-Hobbs took his second GP3 Series™ pole position for Marussia Manor Racing in the final seconds of qualifying at Autodromo Nazionale Monza today. The British driver finished 0.062 seconds ahead of Nico Müller who was on course to take his maiden pole position of the season for Jenzer Motorsport.

Trummer tops dramatic practice session
MW Arden’s Simon Trummer quickest in Practice 2 in Italy
The final round of the GP3 Series™ continued this afternoon with the second practice session at Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Simon Trummer eventually claimed the top spot with a time of 1:45.103 set on his very last lap. The Swiss driver beat out Tom Dillmann who had been top for the majority of the incident filled session. Lotus ART’s championship contenders Valtteri Bottas and James Calado watched the session from the pits choosing to save their tyres for qualifying tomorrow.
