Portugal in running for 2013 race – Ecclestone

Portugal has emerged as a candidate to stage the vacant twentieth race date on the 2013 calendar, and France is also in the running.

Seven rounds have been confirmed for the season which will run alongside the Formula 1™ World Championship, with an eighth standalone race weekend mid-June (venue to be announced at a later date). F1 members admitted to hospital in Austin

Members of F1′s travelling circus have been admitted to hospital in Austin, the Swiss newspaper Blick reports.

Oil, not dust to blame for slippery Austin

The particularly slippery conditions suffered by drivers at the new Circuit of the Americas this weekend is caused by oil, not dust.
