Sports fans will get their money’s worth on Saturday at Valcourt
The Grand Prix Ski-Doo of Valcourt presented by FOX is pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement with Carl Labonté, President and Managing Director of the Revstar Series, to stage a stock-car race on Circuit Yvon-Duhamel ice oval track the weekend of February 15-17, 2013. Launched in 2009, the Revstar STR Series runs summer championships on asphalt and dirt track ovals in Quebec and in the northeastern United States.
Arden driver dominates opening race of the 2012 season
Luiz Razia is a happy man: a perfect get away from the front row and a flawless drive meant he took a lights to flag win today in the Sepang Feature Race. It was also the first win for the Brazilian’s team Arden International, since Charles Pic in Barcelona Feature Race in 2010. Razia crossed the finish line an impressive 7.8s ahead of Davide Valsecchi. Max Chilton in third pocketed his and Carlin’s first GP2 podium.
Volkswagen confirmed a five-year commitment to the WRC
Today’s news that Volkswagen will be returning to the FIA World Rally Championship from 2013 has been heralded by the series promoter as further proof of the increasing value of the sport to manufacturers and its relevance to their production cars.

Formula one drivers should have permanent race numbers that are displayed prominently as in NASCAR. That is the view of FIA president Jean Todt, who admitted he wanted to make changes to make it easier “to identify a driver” during grands prix.

Allianz teams up with Mercedez GP Petronas
The debut of the MGP W02, the new Silver Arrow for the 2011 Formula One World Championship, took place this morning at the Valencia Circuit in Spain with the new challenger unveiled in front of the MERCEDES GP PETRONAS team garage by Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher.
