La Cité de Mirabel inc., a $500M residential project featuring more than 2000 units has decided to lend its financial support to Ray Courtemanche Jr. for the upcoming NASCAR Canadian Tire Series (NCaTS) season. And there is more – as famous car preparation specialist and Crew Chief Dave Jacombs has signed on to prepare Ray Jr’s oval and road course cars, as well as provide trackside support.

American Rider Matt Goerke to defend his MX1 Crown at the Monster Energy Supermotocross
Matt Goerke will return to the Monster Energy Supermotocross, presented by Parts Canada/Thor, on Saturday, September 29 to defend the motocross 450 cc (MX1) title he captured last year at the Olympic Stadium ahead of Canadian Cole Thompson, and fellow Americans Robbie Marshall, Teddy Maier and Canadian Dusty Klatt.

Patrick Carpentier to compete at the Monster Energy Supermotocross
Patrick Carpentier will return to Montréal to compete in the upcoming Monster Energy Supermotocross at Olympic Stadium on September 29. The Quebec-born driver, who resides in Las Vegas, accepted an offer from recreational product dealer Grégoire Sport to compete in the Side-by-Side race. Carpentier was in Montréal on Saturday to race in the NASCAR event on Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.

Patrick Carpentier comes out of retirement to compete in the Rallye international vert de Montréal
Quebec race car driver Patrick Carpentier wasted no time in getting behind the wheel again despite his recent retirement announcement. This time out, he’ll be driving green at the wheel of a NAPA Auto Parts-Honda CRZ during the Rallye international vert de Montréal, to be held from September 30 to October 2 in Montreal.

Well-traveled Ambrose finally wins at Montreal
Four years ago, Marcos Ambrose came all the way from Australia. Saturday morning, he came all the way from Michigan where he is competing in the Sprint Cup Series this weekend. Then, in the afternoon, on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Ambrose came all the way from the back of the pack to finally win the NAPA Auto Parts 200 in the Nationwide Series.

Today the promoters of the NAPA Auto Parts 200 presented by Dodge announced that for the first time ever, 14 drivers competing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series will take part in a one hour autograph session this Saturday.

Patrick Carpentier will return to the NASCAR circuit next weekend driving Frank Stoddard Jr’s #32 Ford at Kansas Speedway. The Canadian driver, who now lives in Las Vegas, has confirmed that he will compete in his first NASCAR Sprint Cup race of the year on June 5 at the 1.5-mile (2.414 km) banked oval, round 13 of the 2011 schedule.
