The exclusive social event, which will once again this year serve as the inaugural soirée of the 2011 Grand Prix du Canada, will be held on Thursday, June 9 at Windsor Station’s Salle des Pas Perdus.

2010 Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix Tickets now officially on sale

Octane Racing Group is pleased to announce that as of today, Wednesday December 16, tickets for the 2010 FORMULA 1 CANADIAN GRAND PRIX are now on sale. As previously announced, those who wish to attend the FIA Formula One World Championship round which will take place June 11-13, 2010 at Parc Jean Drapeau’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, will be able to order tickets on a first come, first serve basis. Fans should contact the ticket office without delay as the best seats in house are in high demand.

Canada GP boss vows to help Villeneuve return

The new promoter of the Canadian grand prix has vowed to try to help Jacques Villeneuve secure a return to formula one in 2010. French Canadian Villeneuve, now 38-year-old world champion of 1997 who left BMW-Sauber and the sport three years ago, has been linked with the new Malaysian-owned Lotus team.
