At the 6 Hours of Donington
A combination of excellent strategy, pace and reliability helped contribute to OAK Racing claiming their first European Le Mans Series victory of the season at the 6 Hours of Donington. The French team’s #35 Onroak Automotive designed and built Morgan-Nissan 2012 LMP2 of Olivier Pla, Bertrand Baguette and Dimitri Enjalbert ran faultlessly throughout a race that also saw the #24 Judd-powered sister car come home sixth.

With a new 3-year agreement beginning in 2012, VP Racing Fuels has increased its level of partnership with the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón and the International Motor Sports Association. The agreement calls for VP – provider of racing fuel to the Series and its sanctioning body for the last four years – to continue as the Official Racing Gasoline Supplier to ALMS and IMSA through 2014, the organizations announced today.

Audi returned to victory at Sebring International Raceway for the first time since 2009 on Saturday with a convincing victory in the 60th Anniversary Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida. Dindo Capello, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish completed 301 laps in their Audi R18 to win by four laps in the opening round of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón and the FIA World Endurance Championship.

During the visit, Pierre met with OAK Racing Team Owner Jacques Nicolet and Managing Director François Sicard, who proudly presented their new facility to their recent signing, as well as discussing the forthcoming race season with members of the team.

OAK Racing has reached an agreement with Pescarolo Sport (Sora Group) to take over the manufacturing side of its business. Consequently, the development and construction of the chassis, bodywork and spare parts of the Pescarolo LMP1 and LMP2 prototypes is assumed by OAK Racing, as well as all commercial activities.
For the first time since 2006, Audi will start on pole. LM P1. Audi R18 # 1 captured the provisional pole (3’25”799). 
OAK Racing finished the 2010 season on a high by winning the LMP2 class in the third and final round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, the Zhuhai 1000kms in China.
