Laperle, Polewarczyk Battle to Finish Second and Third
Tiverton, RI’s Ray Parent took his “feel good” story to another level with a payday worth over $6,000 on Saturday, September 22 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, picking up his first-ever ACT victory in the 4th Annual Bond ACT Invitational. Parent upset Serie ACT Castrol Champion Patrick Laperle, and former Invitational winner Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. for the emotional win.

American Canadian Tour teams are primed and ready for the 4th Annual Bond Auto ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 22. 43 were invited, but after a wreck in last weekends Série ACT Castrol finale, St Ans Des Pins, QC’s David Michaud will be forced to sit out.

Dragon wins Vermont 100 in dramatic fashion
Milton, VT’s Brent Dragon proved himself as one of the greats in the most dramatic race of the year at the Vermont State Championship Series finale at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, September 16. Chip Grenier finished a heart-breaking second, and the Mad River Valley’s Brooks Clark stole third in the closing laps.

Ten more teams invited to Bond Auto ACT Invitational
ACT officials have announced invitations 11-20 for the Bond Auto ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 22. These ten teams have earned their invites through their performance in either the American Canadian Tour or Série ACT Castrol.

American Canadian Tour officials have announced a five-race stretch of events through September and the first week of October boasting over $300,000 in winnings called Fall ACTion. Fall ACTion will be kicked off by the Bond Auto Labor Day Classic at Thunder Road on Sunday, September 2, and closed out by the Fall Foliage 200 at Airborne Speedway on Sunday, October 6.

After NHMS Test and Tune
The American Canadian Tour completed their annual Test and Tune session at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Wednesday, August 29. A total of 27 teams took advantage of the test session in preparation for the fourth annual Bond Auto ACT Invitational scheduled for Saturday, September 22. Teams completed over six hours of practice including two simulation heat races with no issues or wrecks.

Helliwell, Laperle lead invites to New Hampshire
ACT officials have announced that the first ten invitations to the Bond Auto American Canadian Tour Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH have been confirmed. Competitors have been invited based on performance thus far in 2012, or have earned their invite by scoring a feature victory on either the American Canadian Tour, or Serie ACT Castrol. Six American teams and four Canadian teams have been invited thus far.

Sanair turns to night racing for first time ever
For the first time since July of 2006, American Canadian Tour officials have announced a return to the historic Sanair Super Speedway in St-Pie, QC on Saturday, August 11. To add to the event, the 7/8 mile triangular oval will present the race under the lights for the first time in history.

A one-day tuition certificate for the Penguin Roadracing School
The winner of this year’s Inside Motorcycles Amateur Sport Bike National Championship will get to go back to school. The magazine has announced that it will include a one-day tuition certificate for the Penguin Roadracing School as part of the prize to the champion in the series, which is part of the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship.

Kasey Kahne’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway victory was significant on several levels
Kahne’s second win of the year puts him first in line for a Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup™ “Wild Card” berth although he’s not sure two victories will be enough to reach post-season play. “Two helps, but three would put you in a real good spot. We’re going to stay after it,” Kahne said during Sunday’s post-race media interview.
