Helliwell, Laperle lead invites to New Hampshire
ACT officials have announced that the first ten invitations to the Bond Auto American Canadian Tour Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH have been confirmed. Competitors have been invited based on performance thus far in 2012, or have earned their invite by scoring a feature victory on either the American Canadian Tour, or Serie ACT Castrol. Six American teams and four Canadian teams have been invited thus far.

2012 Scnocross World Champion Tim Tremblay to compete at the Grand Prix of Valcourt
It was a last minute decision, but the defending Grand Prix of Valcourt snocross champion was almost a scratch for the 30th consecutive running of the great Quebec winter motorsports classic. Tim Tremblay, the Lac Saint-Jean area native who moved to the USA in order to pursue his passion in the powerful ISOC Snocross Championship, added another feather to his cap by winning the prestigious 2012 Snocross World Championship last January in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

The new F2000 Championship Series car, which has been under development by Radon Sport LLC since 2009, and subject of much speculation, will be under the GTP Motorsports awning at Mosport and is scheduled to be driven by returning F2000 driver Blake Teeter, who last competed at VIR in 2010.

Andrew Ranger was hoping for a positive result in New-Hampshire but a race incident took him out near the end of the race. Bold move on late restart gives rookie second East win. Darrell Wallace Jr. made a three-wide pass for the lead with two laps to go and held on for the victory Friday in the K&N Pro Series 125 at Lee USA Speedway.

Wave Energy Drink, LLC announced today that it will sponsor Tommy Baldwin Racing’s No. 36 Toyota and driver Patrick Carpentier in six NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races this season. Wave Energy Drink branding will appear on the No. 36 for the following six races: Atlanta, Richmond, New Hampshire, Dover, Kansas and California.

Teenager becomes youngest winner in Cup history
Teenager Joey Logano became the youngest winner in the history of the Cup Series on Sunday, winning the rain-shortened race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The precocious 19-year-old rookie came back from a crash that put him a lap down earlier in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 and won in his 20th Sprint Cup start.
