Heidfeld, Jani leading efforts in ALMS

Nick Heidfeld and Neel Jani will kick off Rebellion Racing’s full-season effort in the 2013 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón, the team announced today. The pair is set to drive Rebellion’s No. 12 Lola-Toyota P1 coupe starting with the 61st Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida.















They were touring the state-of-the-art facility and catching up with Lola engineers and the 2012 Lola LMP1 updates. The trio will drive the #12 Rebellion Racing Lola-Toyota in this season’s inaugural FIA World Endurance Series.
Lola LMP cars rounded out the 2011 season successfully in China last weekend.The Rebellion Lola-Toyota of Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost finished a fine 4th overall, once again being the first petrol powered LMP car to take the chequered flag.



Indian hopeful Karun Chandhok insists he is “not disappointed” after being left out of Force India’s plans for the forthcoming young driver test at Jerez. 
General end-of-season testing is banned, but three days for the purposes of “young driver training” in December are permitted according to the 2009 Sporting Regulations. Only drivers with less than three races of F1 experience are eligible. The teams have decided to run at Jerez between 1-3 December. 
Switzerland’s Neel Jani emerged victorious from an action packed Feature race at Vodafone A1GP Algarve, Portugal this afternoon
Neel Jani became the fifth different race winner this season as A1 Team Switzerland took victory in a dramatic Sprint race at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
