Defending champ says new season is wide open

The 2010 race season was special for DJ Kennington. He collected five wins, five poles and, most importantly, the championship he coveted for so long. But, at long last, the 2011 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season is at hand and everyone is back at zero.







Jason Bowles’ 2011 schedule may still be up in the air, but that didn’t stop NASCAR observers from tabbing him as the driver with the most momentum heading into the season. 




Ryan Partridge won the biggest race of his young career, earning the win in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Super Late Model race Friday at the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown. 




The first official entries have been filed for the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown and it looks like it will be a busy event for Jonathon Gomez. 




Reigning West Series champion challenged for top honors before late-race contact resulted in 11th place finish.
