The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 makes its fourth visit to the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres (Que.) and Circuit de Trois-Rivieres on Sunday, Aug. 15 for the GP3R 100. It is the 2010 season’s eighth event and the fourth of five road-course races on the year. 

Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières revealed the out race’s activities’ schedule standing the Grand Prix’s weekend during a press conference on July 20th 2010. Some novelties have been announced and will embellish the race’s schedule for this 41st edition of the Grand Prix.
In a joint announcement today at the Toronto Indy weekend Simone Autosport which fields the #95 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series for driver Anthony Simone announced that business leader Donald Meade has acquired an equity position in the race team. This new partnership represents a tremendous opportunity for both parties.
Andrew Ranger already had a few NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 firsts in his pocket and now he has another by winning the pole position in the series’ inaugural visit to Toronto. The Roxton Pond, Que., driver earned the right to start on the pole for Saturday’s Jumpstart 100 at Exhibition Place. He navigated the 11- turn, 1.765-mile street course in 76.659 seconds for an average speed of 80.820 mph.
