Tesler-Mabe to MINI Team Octane for the 2013 CTCC season
Carlos Tesler-Mabe will re-join the team in 2013 to contest the entire championship, after a short stint with the team in 2012.

In view of MINI’s intention to register as an official Intercontinental Rally Challenge manufacturer, Eurosport Events, the promoter of the IRC, has sought a waiver to amend its sporting regulations to allow Dani Sordo and Carlos del Barrio to score points in the IRC drivers’ and co-drivers’ classifications respectively on Giru di Corsica-Tour de Corse.

Cardin has hit every Quebec Championship podium thus far.
Team PSL Karting continued its Quebec Championship schedule recently as Race 3 was contested at SH Karting outside of Montreal. As has become almost customary, the CRG squad scored a number of podiums and totalled at least one in each of Mini, Junior, Senior, DD2, and Honda Senior. One of those to reach the podium was Marc-Antoine Cardin, a stand-out PSL driver in Rotax Junior.

Team PSL Karting was back racing in Canada a week ago as the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship got underway at Goodwood Kartways in Ontario. The joint forces of PSL, PSL Atlantic, PSL Ontario, and the newly-minted PSL Montreal combined to race 27-strong in the opening event, and the group scored five poles, five wins and fourteen podiums in a weekend doubleheader.

Intrepid scored eight wins at ECKC opening weekend
After a very impressive winter season, Goodwood Kartways / Intrepid Canada started racing North of the border a week ago as it began the 2011 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship on its home turf at Goodwood Kartways. With favoured drivers in a number of Rotax Max Challenge classes, Intrepid drivers from both Ontario and Quebec produced an exceptional weekend with six wins and seventeen total trips to the podium to spray champagne.

MINI confirms WRC comeback
The iconic MINI name will return to the World Rally Championship stages next year
After its parent BMW group announced a multi-year comeback for one of the most charismatic names in the sport’s history. From 2011, MINI will compete at selected rounds of the FIA World Rally Championship and will go on to contest the entire season from 2012 onwards. BMW says this involvement is planned ‘for several years’.
