For the third consecutive race, Alex Tagliani earned a top-ten finish, this time with a season-best seventh place finish at the Milwaukee IndyFest.
After a nearly two-hour rain delay before the race began, Tagliani and his Team Barracuda – BHA crew started the race in P13. The Canadian driver quickly moved up through the field, gaining positions with a strong race car.

“I’m pretty anxious to get on track at the Milwaukee Mile. I love this track. I’ve been on the pole here in the past so hopefully we will be strong. The Team Barracuda – BHA crew has been working really hard and the pole at Texas was proof of that. I’ve got faith in the boys so I think we can get another great result and continue our climb towards the championship.”

An extra oval race has been added to the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series calendar
With the confirmation that the championship will return to the Milwaukee Mile on June 16.The IZOD IndyCar Series has gained an additional event for 2012, with confirmation that the series will be returning to the Milwaukee Mile oval track in mid-June after all.

Ostella was in the thick of the action on Crescent Street in Montrea
The Firestone Indy Lights Championship resumes this coming weekend as David Ostella and his Jensen Motorsport team are headed to Wisconsin for the David Hobbs 100 at the Milwaukee Mile. The second of three consecutive oval starts and fifth round of the 2011 schedule, Ostella’s Global Precast machine is primed for action and the young Canadian is ready to roll.

In Firestone Indy Lights action at Milwaukee
Although neither RLR/Andersen Racing driver had ever driven a lap at the Milwaukee Mile before the first Firestone Indy Lights practice session Saturday morning, they qualified first and third Saturday afternoon for tomorrow’s Husar’s House of Fine Diamonds 100 presented by Charter.

No Time to Rest
There was no time to rest for the Conquest Racing crew after the Indy 500 as the team quickly cleared out of their Indianapolis Motor Speedway garage and headed back to their shop on the North West side of Indianapolis to start preparing for this weekend’s ABC Supply / AJ Foyt 225 at the Milwaukee Mile.
Officials of the “Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda” released an exciting 2011 schedule for the series, which is part of both the Road to Indy and the MAZDASPEED Motorsports driver development programs.
