Rookie holds off race-lap record-setter in Round 8 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
Yesterday’s Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Powered by Mazda saw points-leader Tristan Nunez of Performance Tech make a strong run from the last spot on the grid. His charge toward the front included a race-lap record, but it wasn’t enough to get by the veteran Jon Brownson of Eurosport Racing or catch the race-winner Mikhail Goikhberg of JDC Motorsports. Nunez would settle for third, behind the second-place Brownson.
