Brazilian driver back at Pergusa after 1991 Formula 3000 run
After having made his Superstars debut at Imola, Christian Fittipaldi will be back on-track next weekend at Pergusa. The Brazilian former F.1 racer will rejoin Swiss Team aboard a Maserati Quattroporte in a spectacular challenge to the top driver in the series. It won’t be a new experience for him as he already met with the fast Sicilian track while running in the 1991 Formula 3000 championship aboard a Mugen-powered Reynard.

Italian-based racer ready to battle for the podium at Vallelunga
While the challenge of the year in Vallelunga will involve Giancarlo Fisichella (who will be making his SUPERSTARS debut aboard a Swiss Team-prepared Maserati Quattroporte) and Championship leader Vitantonio Liuzzi, fielded by CAAL Racing on a Mercedes C63 AMG, another great contender for the 2012 title will join them in a sensational showdown. Running just 22 points off Liuzzi’s series lead, Thomas Biagi is set to try and go for the lead back in Italy.

Giancarlo Fisichella set for Superstars debut on the 7th of october at Vallelunga, aboard a Maserati Quattroporte
A new challenge is set for some great former Formula One Champions. The upcoming Round 7 of the 2012 Superstars International Series at Vallelunga will welcome Giancarlo Fisichella, a veteran of 231 starts in the top open-wheel competition and currently lined-up as Ferrari factory driver in GT racing. He will be driving a Maserati Quattroporte fielded by Maserati Corse’s Swiss Team.

Morbidelli, Kristoffersson complete double 1-2 seeps- Herbert, Liuzzi score podium finishes
It’s been a great day for Audi in the British round of the Superstars International Series at Donington Park. The Ingolstadt-based manufacturer scored a sensational double win with Italian Gianni Morbidelli and Swede Johan Kristoffersson. Morbidelli cruised to victory twice in front of his team-mate as the new Audi RS5 racecars proved beyond reach for everybody else on-track. Thanks to his double 2nd place, Kristoffersson managed to extend his championship lead as he now stands with 85 points in front of Biagi (69), Liuzzi (64) and Morbidelli (63)

It’s been a perfect Saturday for Gianni Morbidelli at Donington Park. The Pesaro-based racer, driving an Audi RS5 for Audi Sport Italia, scored an incredible pole position after having dominated in both practice sessions of the third 2012 round of the Superstars International Series.

The Superstars weekend started today at Monza with free testing.
Mika Salo (Maserati Quattroporte), Andrea Larini (Mercedes) and Giammaria-Pellegrinelli (Ferrari 430) hit the top of the charts. The International Superstars Series and GTSprint Series went on-track today at Monza for an official round of testing. The first meeting of the two FG GROUP-promoted championship will be kicking-off at the Italian venue tomorrow featuring new stars, returning characters a the same great action.
