Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher has signed up for the 2012 Race Of Champions in Bangkok, Thailand

The legendary German racer, who tops the all-time lists for F1 titles, wins and poles, competed in his 300th grand prix this month at Spa. Ekström leads Audi 1-2-3 at Oschersleben

With his 2008-spec Audi A4 DTM, Martin Tomczyk again outpaced the competition and a fortnight after his victory in Spielberg, he also won at the Lausitzring. Brandenburg’s prime minister Matthias Platzeck presented the new points’ leader with the winner’s trophy.

Bruno Spengler second, still leads DTM Championship

In his 44th DTM race, Mike Rockenfeller scored his maiden victory. The 27-year old Audi driver from the German village of Neuwied started from third place on the grid into the second round of the 2011 DTM season at Zandvoort in The Netherlands, showed an error-free race with a perfect pit stop strategy and crossed the finish line as the winner after 41 laps.

In qualifying for the race at Zandvoort in The Netherlands, the Franco-Canadian secured himself the best position on the starting grid. The 27-year old had already been fastest in qualifying for the season opener at Hockenheim. His fellow Mercedes-Benz driver Jamie Green will be lining up next to him on the front row of the grid.
