Di Leo was on the podium both days in Florida after a switch to DD2
The 2013 season is officially underway for IPK North America after the Florida Winter Tour International Rotax Max Challenge began a week ago at Palm Beach International Raceway. With drivers competing in five Rotax classes, a young IPK North America squad was quick from the first test sessions of the week and gained valuable experience for its drivers while making podium trips on both days of the event.

Di Leo scored his third win and leads the championship
Intrepid North America was back racing close to home over the weekend as the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship made its second visit to Ontario for races four and five. Mosport International Karting was the venue for the doubleheader, and fifteen Intrepid North America team members were in action scoring two more wins and nine more podiums.

There is no better way to put yourself on the karting map than by winning at SKUSA SuperNationals.
With the event now reaching far beyond its American shores, drivers and manufacturers from around the globe converge at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas each November looking to both end the current season on a strong note, and send a message to the world karting community about the season ahead. Intrepid Kart International did exactly that a week ago, as from dawn till dusk its star-studded line-up was front and centre at SuperNationals XV.

Di Leo and Ouellette collected ECKC testing awards at ICAR.
With the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship season having concluded for 2011, all that remains is for the many award winners to attend a variety of events such as the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, the Mazda Road to Indy Scouting Combine, and first up – car testing in a race prepared Lombardi Racing Honda.

At Circuit Mont-Tremblant
Intrepid Canada wrapped up its Eastern Canadian Karting Championship campaign a week ago as the series travelled to beautiful Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, for the sixth and final round. Once again one of the most productive teams in the paddock, this time out Intrepid drivers added season-long podiums and championships to their customary race wins.

Lombardi Honda will test the ECKC DD2 and Senior Champions
On the eve of its 2011 Championship weekend comes word of two new awards for Eastern Canadian Karting Championship drivers. Both the DD2 Champion and Rotax Senior Champion will receive half-day tests with championship winning Lombardi Honda Racing. The awards will see the two ECKC Champions on track at Circuit ICAR this September and behind the wheel of reigning Canadian Champion Honda Civics.

Though it seems the summer season in Canadian racing has just begun, the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship reached its halfway point on Sunday as the Rotax masses were contesting six classes at PSL Karting Trois-Rivieres. An even one hundred were on hand for race number three following a practice day Friday and a round of the Quebec Cup on Saturday.

The 2011 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship will reach its halfway point this weekend as teams and drivers converge on PSL Karting Trois-Rivières in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, for race number three of six. Rotax Max Challenge classes will once again be in the spotlight, as drivers in Senior, Junior, and DD2 continue bids to earn seats on Team Canada for the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals.

PSL Karting ECKC Goodwood report
Team PSL Karting was back racing in Canada a week ago as the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship got underway at Goodwood Kartways in Ontario. The joint forces of PSL, PSL Atlantic, PSL Ontario, and the newly-minted PSL Montreal combined to race 27-strong in the opening event, and the group scored five poles, five wins and fourteen podiums in a weekend doubleheader.

Intrepid scored eight wins at ECKC opening weekend
After a very impressive winter season, Goodwood Kartways / Intrepid Canada started racing North of the border a week ago as it began the 2011 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship on its home turf at Goodwood Kartways. With favoured drivers in a number of Rotax Max Challenge classes, Intrepid drivers from both Ontario and Quebec produced an exceptional weekend with six wins and seventeen total trips to the podium to spray champagne.

Intrepid Canada season preview
Goodwood Kartways/Intrepid Canada kicks off its 2011 season this coming weekend as the team unveils at the opening round of the Florida Winter Tour Rotax Max Challenge. It will be the first of three RMC schedules Intrepid Canada will contest during its campaign, and its initial effort will see sixteen drivers from five different countries converge in an impressive new Intrepid Canada pit compound in Orlando, Florida.

ECKC Awards Watch
The Eastern Canadian Karting Championship awards program continues this week as both Marco Di Leo and Jesse Lazare are headed to Zuera, Spain, to compete in the first annual Rotax International Open. As respective ECKC Senior and Junior Champions, the pair captured the most coveted of awards: the opportunity to compete in Europe with sponsorship from Sofina Foods and the Latifi family. Neither has competed in Europe previously, yet both are set to make major statements when action begins later this week.
