FIA bans Enge for 18 months after drugs test
Former F1 driver Tomas Enge has been banned by the governing FIA for 18 months.
The now 35-year-old Czech, the only F1 driver ever to fail a drugs test a decade ago, failed yet another test recently. In 2002, he was stripped of his international Formula 3000 (GP2) title for failing a test for cannabis.

Senna family supports Williams reunion
Bruno Senna’s new Williams contract is for just one season, the Brazilian newspaper O Estado de S.Paulo claims. “It will be a pivotal year for my future in formula one,” the 28-year-old former HRT and Renault driver is quoted as saying. The Senna family is fully supportive of the famous name’s return to Williams. 18 years ago, Brazil was in mourning over the death at the wheel of a Williams of the great Ayrton Senna.

Calls for safety tweak after Interlagos fatality

Leading Brazilian touring car driver Caca Bueno is calling for urgent safety improvements at the Interlagos formula one circuit. At the wet Sao Paulo venue on Sunday, stock car driver Gustavo Sondermann lost control near the end of the lap at the Curva do Cafe corner that in recent times has been unofficially dubbed ‘Tamburello de Interlagos’.
