Schumacher and Green claim victory in Munich
The DTM provided an extraordinary motoring show in Munich’s Olympiastadion on Saturday. In an action-packed relay competition of the three manufacturers Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, Ralf Schumacher and Norisring winner Jamie Green with the DTM Mercedes AMG C-Coupé beat two times’ DTM champion Timo Scheider and Adrien Tambay with the Audi A5 DTM in a very close final.

The American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón starts its summer swing – six races over the next 11 weeks – with round four at Lime Rock Park July 6-7, the ninth annual Northeast Grand Prix. It’s got one of the biggest grids ever for this event: 32 entries made up of 15 prototypes and 17 GT cars.

In a champagne weekend for Armor All Gold Coast 600 internationals, Will Power took out the IZOD IndyCar Series Road Course Title with second behind Scott Dixon in Japan, whilst Dirk Muller and Joey Hand have been crowned American Le Mans GT Champions for BMW – building confidence ahead of the Surfers Paradise stoush – October 21-23.

Atherton, star competitors receive distinguished honor
A number of figures from the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón have been elected into The Road Racing Drivers Club for 2010. Thirty-one new members for the prestigious organization were announced over the weekend – many with roots in the Series and sanctioning body IMSA.
