Perfect weather on race day changes outlook after raining practice
After rain and wind kept the drivers of the ProKart Challenge North series in their trailers during the Friday’s available practice day, they emerged ready for battle when Saturday dawned sunny and cool at the Jim Russell International Karting Center.

Leesmann, Smith and Fraser all pilot Aluminos-prepped machines to victory at Infineon
The opening round of the SKUSA ProKart Challenge North program was a successful event for the Team Aluminos squad. At the Jim Russell International Karting Center in Sonoma, California, Team Aluminos used their home track knowledge to put three of their five drivers competing on top of the podium, with a runner-up finish added in for good measure.

The 2010 season got underway for Team Aluminos as the Northern California-based operation headed south to Fontana for the opening round of the Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge South at the CalSpeed Karting facility. Eight drivers piloted Aluminos-prepped machines in five categories ranging from Stock Moto to TaG.

The final round for the Superkarts! USA ProKart Challenge North program is set for September 12 at the Jim Russell International Karting Center in Sonoma, California. The South program completed their 2009 schedule at the end of August with nine championships decided that weekend. For the North program, eight classes will see their champions crowned on the popular ‘Reverse National’ layout.
