The 5th round of the Canadian Rally Championship took place last weekend out of Merritt, British Columbia. After the running of the Pacific Forest Rally, new Canadian champions were confirmed.

Second round of the 2011 Canadian Rally Championship
Rocky Mountain Rally: a new venue !
The second round of the Canadian Rally Championship will be held this Friday in Alberta with the 38th running of the Rocky Mountain Rally. The event will now run on a single day near Calgary around the Kananaskis Country, a first for this event that used to head south over the last twenty years. This year’s event sees six Mitsubishi cars composing the Brigade that will seek overall victory and two other class wins.

The 2010 Canadian, American, and North American Rally Champions, Antoine L’Estage of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Qc and Nathalie Richard of Halifax, NS will return to competition this weekend to contest Maniwaki’s Rallye Perce-Neige, the first round of the 2011 Canadian Rally Championship.

The 5th round of the Canadian Rally Championship will take place this coming weekend out of Merritt, British Columbia, a small vicinity north-east of Vancouver nested in the Rockies. Barely three weeks after the last event in Québec, the Mitsubishi teams entered have been working extra hours to prepare the cars for the event before setting out to cross the country for the second Western round on the calendar.
The 45 teams entered for the 33rd Edition of the Rallye Baie des Chaleurs, 3rd round of the Canadian Rally Championship, will have to mind their wounds when they return home from their Gaspe Peninsula trip. Oct 06

Antoine L’Estage and co-driver Nathalie Richard from St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec in their new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution are one step closer to winning the 2009 Canadian Rally Championship after finishing in second place at the Pacific Forest Rally, the fifth round of the season.

Pat Richard wins Pacific Forest Rally
To keep title fight alive
The Subaru Rally Team Canada pairing of Pat Richard (Squamish, B.C.) and Alan Ockwell (Toronto) won the 2009 Pacific Forest Rally, the fifth round of the Canadian Rally Championship presented by Subaru and supported by Yokohama. Mixed conditions in the hills surrounding the Nicola Valley took a toll on both teams and cars, with battles raging all through the order.
The Mitsubishi Canadian rally teams will have the opportunity to secure a few championships this weekend at the fifth round of the Canadian Rally Championship, the Pacific Forest Rally, held in Merritt, British Columbia.
