At the 6 Hours of Donington
A combination of excellent strategy, pace and reliability helped contribute to OAK Racing claiming their first European Le Mans Series victory of the season at the 6 Hours of Donington. The French team’s #35 Onroak Automotive designed and built Morgan-Nissan 2012 LMP2 of Olivier Pla, Bertrand Baguette and Dimitri Enjalbert ran faultlessly throughout a race that also saw the #24 Judd-powered sister car come home sixth.

First victory for an hybrid
As the No.1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro of Andre Lotterer-Marcel Fassler-Benoit Treluyer took the chequered flag at exactly 1500 hours, Audi Sport today secured their 11th victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Third podium of the season
The fifth and final round of the 2010 Le Mans Series concluded with an extremely positive result for OAK Racing Team Mazda France. The #35 Pescarolo-Judd of Guillaume Moreau and Richard Hein finished in a fine third place in the LMP2 class, their third podium of the season.

The Algarve 1000kms, round 3 of the 2010 Le Mans Series, should have seen OAK Racing Team Mazda France’s first win
Unfortunately, the Portuguese circuit, renowned for being extremely hard on cars, lived up to its reputation and the bumpy surface badly affected the reliability of the Magny-Cours-based team’s cars. The #35 machine, driven by Guillaume Moreau and Richard Hein, was running second in LMP2 when it was forced to retire after 91 laps with a differential failure. The #24 car, which led the class after 144 laps, suffered the same problem. This time, the team were able to make repairs that allowed Matthieu Lahaye and Jacques Nicolet to rejoin and finish fourth.

#35 finishes second while #24 just misses out on the podium
OAK Racing Team Mazda France enjoyed an excellent start to its 2010 season at the opening round of the Le Mans Series; the 8 Heures du Castellet. The Magny-Cours-based team ran at the front of the LMP2 field for much of the race with the #35 Pescarolo-Judd of Guillaume Moreau and Richard Hein, finishing a superb second on the same lap as the winning car.

Work has already started and a programme of wind tunnel testing is planned for January
OAK Racing has reached an agreement with Pescarolo Sport (Sora Group) to take over the manufacturing side of its business. Consequently, the development and construction of the chassis, bodywork and spare parts of the Pescarolo LMP1 and LMP2 prototypes is assumed by OAK Racing, as well as all commercial activities.
Saulnier Racing has revealed that it will run under the banner of OAK Racing for the 2009 Le Mans Series season.
