Supercar unveils its first field for The Mayor’s Cup

The countdown has started, only eight days left before the inaugural race of the new Canadian Supercar Series.

On August 3rd, 4th and 5th, Supercar drivers will take to the streets of Trois-Rivières. Dedicated to high performance and exotic race cars, Supercar provides an environment for drivers to showcase their race cars and to challenge other cars of similar performance. Supercars like the Acura NSX, Corvette, BMW M Coupe, Ferrari 430, Nissan 370Z and Porsche typically have over 400 horsepower. Winning return to action for Grist

Garett Grist continues his winning ways taking wins at both Mosport and Mont Tremblant

Garett Grist - Photo by: Cody Schindel - Autosports Media Group “Formula Ford rookie nets second win on the season along with sixth podium finish to keep his points chase hopes alive”. Garett Grist, a member of the Sofina Foods Driver Development Program, returned to Ontario Formula Ford Challenge action this past weekend and secured his first win at Mosport International Raceway having been second on multiple occasions. The 16-year-old racer missed the last round of OFFC action as the Britain West Motorsport team headed to the GP3R for the weekend of racing.

The BGR Team Grote cars were a prominent fixture on the podium this past weekend at the GP3R and the BARC double header OFFC weekend at Mosport. Leading the way was new points leader in the Ontario Formula Ford Championships Trent Hindman as he swept the weekend with two poles, two wins, and two fastest laps.

Juncos Racing places three cars in top-eight in race two at GP3R

Juncos Racing had a great overall weekend at the Grand Prix Trois-Rivieres; the team was fastest in official practice with J.V. Horto, qualified second and scored a second place finish with him in race one, and was able to close out the weekend placing all three of its cars in the top-eight positions in race two.
