Adams got back to his winning ways during a visit to Quebec
Canadian Formula Ford racer Michael Adams has been busy cris-crossing the Ontario-Quebec border of late as after supporting at the Canadian Grand Prix weekend in Montreal he’s had four race starts with two in each province. The outings have brought all possible results, ranging from retirement to his fourth victory of the season last weekend!
Heavy rains struck just as the rally started, and would set the course for many teams fighting to perform.
Antoine L’Estage (St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, QC) and Nathalie Richard (Halifax) continued their success in the Canadian Rally Championship, Presented by Subaru and supported by Yokohama, by winning the Rallye Baie Des Chaleurs, third round of the series. The team took the lead from the very first stage and continued to bolster their advantage on Friday’s stages while other teams struggled.

Reigning Canadian and North American Rally Champions, Quebec driver Antoine L’Estage (of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu) and his co-driver Nathalie Richard (of Halifax, NS) are eyeing another victory at this weekend’s Rallye de la Baie-des-Chaleurs, in Gaspésie. The Rockstar Energy Drink duo is anticipating this third round of the 2012 season with enthusiasm as it attempts to win for a third time in as many outings in the Canadian Rally Championship.

Utah Grand Prix
Sean Johnston gave pole-sitter and hometown favorite Madison Snow a run for his money at the end of the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama series second race in the Utah Grand Prix, but he came up half a second short of stopping Snow from collecting his second victory of the weekend.
Rain, delay, fire, delay…
Appropriately, in the end the car was spewing water, a little geyser emitting from the vehicle’s overflow valve. Because there’s something about a battle with the elements that brings out the best in Matt Kenseth at the Daytona 500.

Huge event last night at Olympic Stadium
At the last program of the 2011 season of the F2000 American Championship
Audette Racing with driver Rémy Audette were at Watkins Glen International last weekend for the conclusion of the F2000 season where Remy only had to start one of two races scheduled Saturday or Sunday to win the 2011 season Championship. Audette made two podiums to conclude the season in beauty.
In Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada
When a broken ball joint ended the day for pole sitter Perry Bortolotti on lap one, Quebec’s Martin Harvey picked up where he left off after yesterday’s racing, dicing with Shaun McKaigue through the entire 26-lap Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada race in the Grand Prix ICAR.
Two Cars at the Mirabel GP …
The Media Racing Team contested this weekend’s Grand Prix ICAR de Mirabel, where a doubleheader was held for the Canadian Touring Car Championship competitors. At the wheel of their Scion tC’s, Luc Lesage and Jocelyn Fecteau had mixed results but came away from the races with a positive overall feeling as both of the Scion drivers finished the two races, including a top 5 for Luc Lesage.
