Bimota plant visited by FIM and Dorna

On 8 April, FIM and Dorna WSBK representatives visited the Bimota plant in Rimini, Italy.

FIM logoThe Superbike Commission, composed of Mr Paolo Flammini (IMS Chief Executive Officer), Ignacio Verneda (FIM Executive Director, Sport), Giulio Bardi (Team representative), during a telephone conference held on October 27th, with the participation of Mr Paolo Ciabatti (IMS Director), Charles Hennekam (FIM CTI Coordinator) and Paul Duparc (FIM CCR Coordinator) unanimously decided to introduce the following modifications to the Road Racing Superbike & Supersport World Championship and FIM Superstock Cup.

Bridgestone propose revision of MotoGP tyre supply to the GP Commission

A detailed summary of the proposed tyre allocation changes is available

Bridgestone - Hirohide HamashimaBridgestone MotoGP 2011-03-28Working together with the Safety Commission, where the riders, FIM, IRTA and Dorna are represented it has been decided to propose a change of the allocation of the tyres to the GP Commission. As such, Bridgestone has proposed a revision to its tyre allocation procedure and selected tyre compounds for the remaining races of the 2011 season, effective from the Czech Republic Grand Prix.
