Auto GP has been announcing many 2013 drivers lately but new additions are not expected from that compartment only.
The championship, managed by Enzo Coloni, is welcoming the brand-new Ibiza Racing Team. Giuseppe Cipriani, founder of the successful F.3000 team Barone Rampante, joined forced with longtime team owner Ferdinando Ravarotto and Modesto Benegiamo, who served as a Director Of Sport for many teams over the last 20 years in both open and closed-wheel competition.

Jean Todt has revealed he did not attempt to sign Fernando Alonso during his time as Ferrari boss due to an earlier betrayal.
The Frenchman, who is now the FIA president, reigned over Ferrari from the 90s until 2008. At the end of 2006, he chose Kimi Raikkonen as the retiring ‘number 1′ Michael Schumacher’s replacement, even though Spaniard Alonso – now Ferrari’s long term hope – was also on the market.

Christian Horner has emphatically denied suggestions he might be the next Bernie Ecclestone.
Already very close to the sport’s 81-year-old ‘supremo’ Ecclestone – who is at the middle of a potentially-damaging corruption affair – the name ‘Horner’ is often mentioned in the paddock as perhaps Ecclestone’s preferred successor.

The story of the Italian team is a really successful one, starting right from that first season that saw the team clinch his first drivers title in the Italian F3 Championship with Enzo Coloni himself at the wheel, and still keeping momentum today with the three wins the team secured in the 2011 GP2 season.

Czech driver Jan Charouz will participate in the young driver test which is taking place from today Tuesday until Thursday the 17th of November at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Charouz will be behind the wheel of the F111 tomorrow and will step aside, that same day, for Nathanael Berthon once the Czech driver will complete the programme established for him by the team.

Fernando Alonso has revealed he is more than happy with life at Ferrari.
2011 is the two-time world champion’s tenth season in formula one, but only his second with the famous Maranello based team. “I expected a team of legend and magic and it has been a pleasant surprise, even better than I expected,” the 29-year-old told the Spanish sports daily Marca.

Simone Faggioli won his second European Hill Climb title in as many years this weekend, utilising the 3.0-Litre KV engine. The Italian took the championship at Course de côte St. Ursanne-Les Rangiers, the ninth round of the twelve race series.
