Team Canada Scholarship expands program

The third edition of the Team Canada Scholarship will grow to include two young Canadian drivers.

Tim Paul Signs with AJ Foyt Racing for Indy Lights in 2014

IndyLightsOpen-wheel racing and former midget and sprint car driver Timothy Paul of Mahopac, New York, has signed an agreement to race in the Firestone Indy Lights Championship in 2014 for AJ Foyt Racing. It was the fourth weekend sweep of the year for the Venezuelan in the season finale doubleheader at Watkins Glen International, winning ahead of Wyatt Gooden and Nicholas. F2000 Championship Series logoIn 14 qualifying rounds now complete for the 2012 F2000 Championship Series season, Robert La Rocca, the 2012 Champion, has put his No. 10 HP-Tech Van Diemen on pole 12 times. In the final qualifying round of the year at Watkins Glen International, a shortened session left a seven-minute shootout for drivers to run their fastest laps of the weekend, producing another La Rocca pole ahead of Wyatt Gooden and Rob Nicholas. La Rocca breaks win record with Watkins Glen drive

F2000 Championship Series logoAfter starting from pole and briefly losing the lead, Robert La Rocca got around Wyatt Gooden and fended off Gooden on a restart, with the two cars making contact coming to the green and white flags. La Rocca would go onto take his 10th win of the 2012 F2000 Championship season, breaking the existing win record with a bit of drama. La Rocca had already locked up the Championship prior to the race, adding even more points for the pole, and yet another win.
