The story of the Italian team is a really successful one, starting right from that first season that saw the team clinch his first drivers title in the Italian F3 Championship with Enzo Coloni himself at the wheel, and still keeping momentum today with the three wins the team secured in the 2011 GP2 season.

In GP2 Series testing in Jerez
A huge succes: there’s no other way to describe the participation of the three leading pilots of the Euroseries 3000 by PartyPoker in the GP2 Main Series testing. Fabio Onidi, Marco Bonanomi and Will Bratt non only took advantage of the test session in order to get acquainted with the Dallara car, but they also impressed the paddock with top notch performances.

Euroseries 3000 by PartyPoker Racing started its roman weekend
The first of the two free practice sessions saw the drivers getting on track to find the first benchmarks, especially the ones who never raced there before. Rodolfo Gonzalez, Will Bratt and Juan Carlos Sistos took some time to become familiar with the “Autodromo Piero Taruffi” and also Ben Hanley had to learn again a track on wich he raced only in 2004.

Onidi and Crestani on the podium
Marco Bonanomi didn’t need much time to revenge on the bad luck that forced him to withdraw in Valencia’s first race. The italian driver, indeed, managed to clinch a great victory in the second race, the best way to say thank you to the FMSI team, whose mechanics worked hard during the night to fix his car with a spare engine.

There’s a clear message coming from Will Bratt in Valencia: who wants the title will also have to face him. After his win in Zolder and this morning’s pole position (wich grants him an extra point in the standings), the brit managed to win also the first of the three spanish races.

In 2008 he fought Nicolas Prost for the title until the last race, stopping only two points behind the frenchman. In this season he won immediately, in the series debut round in Portimão, and he is runner-up in the championship, four points behind the leader Marco Bonanomi.
