Marc-Antoine Camirand fastest in the first practice session this morning in CTCC
The 36 drivers entered in the Canadian Touring Championship GP3R cars inaugurated the activities of the weekend on Friday morning at 10:00 for a stack of free practice session of 30 minutes.

Newest EFFORT Racing driver posts two-in-a-row at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
Only a few short days ago, D. Bryce Miller made a mid-season switch to EFFORT Racing to join Michael Mills in IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama competition. The team welcomed Miller with the hopes of making a stronger run for the Championship beginning at this weekend’s Mobil 1 Presents the Grand Prix of Mosport.

Changing track conditions provide another challenge to an already turbulent weekend
Yesterday’s tumultuous first race for the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin shook up the usually fast suspects as an early on-track incident brought out a full course caution and added some new faces on the podium in both Platinum and Gold.

Class qualifying lap records and new faces make all the difference in round six
With all three classes of Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin seeing new qualifying lap records yesterday morning, competition was sure to be fast and fierce in Round 6 of competition. Fans were not disappointed as the field saw fierce class battles, a touch of ‘Gold’ on the Podium, and a seven-lap full-course-caution to clean up after a multi-car spin and contact.

Intense competition builds excitement for race 2, Borgeat captures second win
The scenic Circuit Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec played host this past weekend to the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin for the Summer Classic. The mountainside facility proved to be uphill for some and downhill for others in during the two races this weekend, where the intense racing saw several heated battles for dominance and track position.

The first of two races this weekend defines the course for Porsche GT3 Cup fans
The charming City of Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec, Canada, is famous for its ski resorts and other peaceful outdoor activities such as hiking and canoeing. But during this weekend’s Summer Classic at Circuit Mont-Tremblant, the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin is reminding visitors why local Algonquin named the City the “trembling mountain.”

Following Grand Prix de F1 du Canada weekend
Race car driver Jean-Frédéric Laberge is no doubt disappointed having missed top honours for the first time of the season but still obtained the 4th best lap time overall of the weekend. Exceptionally the race format allowed for drivers from both Canadian and American championship series to compete together.

Three battles will take place during this season’s last event.
With only two Rounds to go, the competition level will be at its highest during the Continental Sundown Enduro at Circuit ICAR on September 10-11. Competitors of the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship presented by Continental Tire (CTCC) will compete for Championship titles in Super Class and Touring Class and the manufacturers` titles will also be determined at the same time.

Only two Rounds to go after the NAPA Auto Parts 200
Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is the most renowned race track in Canada and for the first time, the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship presented by Continental (CTCC) competitors will have the privilege to compete on the same ground as the famed Formula 1 drivers.

For the final round of the 2010 Championship
The Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship presented by Toyo Tires return to the Circuit ICAR at Mirabel, just north of Montreal for the final round of the 2010 season. Many of Canada’s best race drivers are slated to be on hand this weekend racing in two extremely competitive car classes.

Everything is in place for a great racing weekend in Trois-Rivières
Tradition is respected with the presentation of the 41st edition of the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières ( GP3R) in the streets of the Maurician city. It is difficult to find a reference to the GP3R as is is a unique event with its tradition and its capacity to renew and modernize itself.
