American Canadian Tour teams are primed and ready for the 4th Annual Bond Auto ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 22. 43 were invited, but after a wreck in last weekends Série ACT Castrol finale, St Ans Des Pins, QC’s David Michaud will be forced to sit out.

The American Canadian Tour (ACT) announced today that Eddie MacDonald from Rowley, MA and Donald Theetge, of Boischatel, Quebec have filed entries for the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 championship stock car season opener at the Lee USA Speedway on Sunday, April 15, 2012.

The American Canadian Tour (ACT) Rent-A-Wreck Fall Foliage 200 at Airborne Speedway this Saturday, October 8, 2011 will have some surprise entries. Perhaps the most surprising entry came from the star of the ACT Invitational at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) two weeks ago: Eddie MacDonald, from Rowley, MA who has entered the 200-lap event following his second ACT Invitational win.

The race wasn’t decided until the final corner
Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts claimed his second American Canadian Tour Invitational after a thrilling battle with Barre, Vermont’s Nick Sweet at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH on Saturday, September 24. MacDonald and Sweet swapped the lead four times over the final 15 laps of the 50 mile event on the “Magic Mile.”

Eddie MacDonald wins Segment #1 , Patrick Laperle on the podium
Williston, Vermont’s Brian Hoar claimed the overall ACT All-Star Challenge title after winning the second segment at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 13. Hoar was running third on a lap 36 restart when segment one winner and leader at the time Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts had ignition troubles and had to retire from the event.

Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts and Joey Laquerre of East Montpelier, Vermont will sit on the front row in the first segment of the American Canadian Tour Late Model Challenge at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 13. MacDonald earned a +14 and Laquerre picked up a +11 in ACT’s unique plus/minus handicap system.

The American Canadian Tour (ACT) announced today that an agreement has been reached with New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) to bring the ACT Late Model teams from the Northeastern US and Canada to the historic ‘World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing’ at New Smyrna, Florida during the Daytona Speedweeks.

Moffitt wins at Dover; Truex wraps up 2nd straight K&N East title
Eighteen-year-old Brett Moffitt picked up his second straight win at Dover International Speedway in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season finale Friday in the Sunoco 150. Ryan Truex, 18, clinched his back-to-back series championship simply by taking the green-flag and capped off his title run with a third-place finish.

Hoar is the current ACT Late Model Tour point leader
Brian Hoar won the Circuit Riverside Speedway Can-Am combination Série ACT Castrol Edge and ACT Late Model Tour event on Saturday, August 14. Hoar, the current ACT Late Model Tour point leader, fought his way by current Série ACT Castrol Edge point leader Karl Allard on lap 94 and led the remainder of the event. The scheduled 200 lap event had to be cut back to 171 due to a curfew.

While Wallace steals the show at Lee
Andrew Ranger was hoping for a positive result in New-Hampshire but a race incident took him out near the end of the race. Bold move on late restart gives rookie second East win. Darrell Wallace Jr. made a three-wide pass for the lead with two laps to go and held on for the victory Friday in the K&N Pro Series 125 at Lee USA Speedway.

In White Mountain 150
Williston’s Brian Hoar earned his first ACT Late Model Tourwin of the season and his 26th career ACT victory. Hoar took the lead on the final restart with 16 laps remaining from Hyde Park’s Eric Williams. Williams would hold on for second followed by Newport, NH’s Mark Hayward.

Truex cruises to victory and joins father and brother as K&N Pro Series East winners
Ryan Truex became the third member of his family to reach Victory Lane at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday as he dominated the New England 125 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race. Truex took the lead on Lap 60 and never looked back as the Mayetta, N.J., driver joined his brother NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Martin Truex Jr., and his father, Martin Sr., on the K&N Pro Series East winners list at New Hampshire.

A total of 50 cars attempted to qualify with 33 making the starting grid
Rowley MA’s Eddie MacDonald took the checkers in the second ACT Late Model Tour event at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday, June 19. MacDonald led the last 43 laps of the 150 lap event after taking the lead from current ACT Late Model Tour point leader Brian Hoar.

Forty cars attempted to qualify for the event
Lee USA Speedway regular Miles Chipman earned his first career ACT Late Model Tour win in the NH Governor’s Cup 150 on his hometrack on Friday, June 11. Chipman battled with fellow Lee competitor Wayne Helliwell for the majority of the event before taking over for good on lap 105.
Drivers from the East K&N Series were in New Hampshire International Speedway late this afternoon for the next to last race of their 2010 season. The last race will take place next week in Dover. Today’s race took place under cloudy skies.
