Contact between leaders nets him Canadian Tire victory at Barrie
Mark Dilley took advantage of a skirmish between the leaders to claim the Wild Wing 300 presented by Independent Electric Saturday night at Barrie Speedway. Dilley was running third on the green-white-checkered finish when Kerry Micks tapped race leader J.R. Fitzpatrick in Turn 1. Fitzpatrick spun and Dilley got past Micks to claim his third career victory.

In a car provided by Bill McAnally Racing, Kennington piloted his #17 Castrol Edge machine to a second place finish in the race referred to as the Daytona 500 of short track racing.
